FP lost in mail

FP notice was apparently sent sometime in April/May which I never received. A service enquiry to my case status 2 months ago revealed this.

I called TSC and was told that new notice would be mailed. It has been over 7 weeks now, but nothing has arrived yet. I have verified the address to which the notice was mailed, and it is correct.

Can someone advise what to do next?

I have not received my fp notice either. How did you find out that your fingerprint request was lost in the mail?

Anybody ever in this kind of situation please write your experience.

I had called USCIS for a regular service enquiry. I got a response that they have no information on my application (after 2 FPs and more than 3 years of waiting!!)

I called back (luckily reached TSC this time) and spoke to an IIO. She told me I was scheduled for FP in May and was mailed a notice before that.
 
I was able to talk to a IO at NSC and she told me I was scheduled for FP in June and they sent a notice before that. Just like you neither me nor my lawyer did not receive that notice. She told me she sent an e-mail to some other department to reschedule me another FP.
 
How does one get to speak to an IIO and at what number?

I am desperately trying to get to talk to one. thanks!!
 
I was in a similar situation like you guys. I kept calling IO few times and finally got to know that my FP was scheduled in May but neither my lawyer nor I received the same. So I asked the IO to mail me the old fp which they claim that I missed. After I received the old fp notice, I took it to the office in NJ on a wednesday (wednesdays are the make up days for people who missed their appointments) and got it done. My fp was originally scheduled for May 15th and I finally did it on August 8th, 2007. So don't wait for a new appointment to be scheduled. As far as I know it takes atleast 1 - 3 months to get a new appointment. Good Luck.

I am in similar situation, or maybe getting there. 3weeks have passed and no FP notice. I called INS and talked to CSR and she told me that the IO will schedule my appointment when he is "ready"!!!! She said to wait and not to worry. NOT TO WORRY!!! yeah, judging from INS track record...:mad: Any suggestions?
 
It is the same as NSC. Follow what december2002 has written above. Your call will be transferred to TSC based on your I485 receipt number you enter when it prompts you to.

When I was trying for my FP, I was also told the same... "Wait for the FP to be rescheduled" .. but I insisted that I receive the old notice to be mailed to me once again. Try it again..Good Luck!
