FP lost in mail

Hi,

I was scheduled for FP on oct 27 04. I never received the notice, may be lost in mail. I sent a request to VSC to know more about case status on Dec 04 to VSC, to know whether I'm scheduled or not, just to check. I received a letter from VSC saying I was scheduled on Oct 27 04 and in case I missed it I need to go to ASC and reschedule it before 87 days from the date of previous appointment.
I went to ASC in Nashville and they said, they can't do anything with out notice and asked me to contact VSC for another appointment letter.
I sent a letter VSC asking them to send me another FP notice.
Could you please let me know how I should proceed.
What are the chances of my 485 denial. My 140 is approved.
Do I need an attorney?

Send a letter to INS stating your experience regarding your FP Notice and what ASC told, INS will send you a new FP Notice. ASC center will usually not do anything if you do not have a FP Notice.
