My wife went with me on 11/21/01. We kindly asked the lady to do her FP 2 weeks earlyer then scheduled, we even had our tickets to prove we\'re flying on 11/24 but she, again kindly asked my wife to come back after she returns to St. Louis

Talked to IIO NSC - Just want to share
I dialed for about 10 -15 min got thru to NSC - had to wait 25-30 min to talk to an IIO.
She said that currently they are processing 12/00 cases and that my case will be assigned to an officer in about 5 mo.
I said I understand that and asked her about FP. She said that typically they issue FP notices about 2-3 months before they assign a case to an officer. She said if I don\'t recieve my FP notice by Feb/March I should call them back.
I told her that some of my friends who filed 485 after I did got their FP notices now. She said it is an automatic process and it doesn\'t matter. She also verified my address and said everything looks fine and that I should wait for it.
She was very courteous and friendly....

Wait for FP in St Louis. However, my wife had made her FP in San Antonio area on Dec. 21. My lawyer said he will take care of it. I think it is just due to the different schedule in different location of the INS office. Right?
