FP in Philly?

You can do as what joyd said, or if possible, just go at around 2:30-3:00PM when the place is more likely to be empty.

I'm going there next Wed too for early FP (the notice is 11/18), would like to hear about the experience from your guys. I heard that Wed is probably the best day for early FP, but looks like it could still be crowded.

Good luck!
Circa

did you do FP in philly?
I also have same problem as you( moved from PA to NJ). But receipt came for Philly FP center.

Pls post ur experience

Thanks

Actually I moved from NJ to PA, and my notice was for Newark office (although I changed address they still sent notice for Newark ASC). I went to Philly ASC for early FP with no problem at all. I brought the USCIS address change confirmation letter just in case they ask, but they didn't bother.

Good luck!

Do they have good Parking at Philly center?
BTW, did you get Approval yet?

Philly is OK with early FP

I did early FP in Philly with Notice of Newark ASC. They did not ask any question, since it was 3:00 P.M and center was completely empty. Just carry your passport. They askmed me and I did not have it so the guard was not happy about it, nevertheless she allowed me.

Paid Parking is just opposite the ASC and at neaby places.

Passport stamped in Philly!

Since my thread emerged from the ashes, I just wanted to share this. We got our Passport stamped with the I-551 stamp today! Looks pretty basic. The immigration officer was very nice and friendly. He took all the forms, photos, EAD, AP, photos etc and took the old fashioned fingerprint and stamped our passports. There's plently of roadside parking on Callowhill and 16th, but we parked in the enclosed parking lot and still ended up with a dent :( Oh well!

Hi joyd,

Congrats!!!

What are the forms he took from you? Newly filled-in ones or the old I-140/485 app forms?

Did they require your passport be valid for at least 6 months? Mine is expiring in mid Jan.

Thanks!

Circa,

Sorry my bad, no forms. They took the original 485 approval notice, all EAD/APs, photos, I-94s, I had to sign a form in which he put the fingerprints too, should've paid attention to the form.

fhgc,

yes my car now also have a stamp :)
