FP in Oct 2002 still not AP, anybody in the same boat?

You know there is a way you can contact the TSC officer directly. Try that many times and you would find what's going on there of your case/s.

I got this message:

On October 29, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

Does it mean my FP is cleared?

I made an infopass appointment for early March (that's as early as I can get... my laywer is not helping, insist that I wait another 30 days for her inquiry...) sign...

I mean you should contact an immigration officer in TSC directly through 1-800- (many people already suggeted a way to do this). You should get more ... Try this today and you might be suprised that your case might be on the officer's desk whom you contact with. One of my friends had this thing happened a long time ago. He got approved then immediately. Gook luck and pls share with us your exp. Your case/FP is too too old.....

Anybody know the TSA 800 number? I couldn't find one... the USICS number is useless, all they do is take an inquiry and I have done it 3 times with no luck...
 
Same situation here ND 5//3/02 fingerprint 11/20/04 , sent inquiry ,no positive response , lawyer has sent second inqury thru the AILW (immigration lawers ) ,hopefuly I would here something soon. Hoping and praying is all i can do at this point.

I am from Fort Worth, I contacted the local congressman, the office called me back asked for some information and told me they will check and .... nothing... I guess it's just my bad luck... I will see what I can get from that infopass appointment

i am in the saem boat, ND may 2002, FP july 2004, then nothing. You said you are going to make an infopass appointment, what can you do at the appintment? it is in a local office, right?

let me ask again, Did u check by calling/fax/email to FBI that ur FP status has been cleared?

if not than do contact immidiately, in this way u will learn where ur case has been stucked.

Did you come from China, India or philippines? TSC responded to my inquiry saying that State Department does not have a visa currently available for EB based I-485 applications from those three countries. Of cause it's wrong, because the priority date is the labor certificate date, not I-485 receipt date. Plus, I am EB-2, not EB-3. Visa is available for all EB-2 based I-485. I am trying to figure out how to fix those errors that are causing TSC delaying the process of my I-485.

Any suggestions, everyone?

I am not sure someone else also shared this problem too... don't remember who was that..... anyway

it seems they are assuming/comparing ur 485 RD (04/2002) instead of PD of LC somehow.


Your attorney need to contact and send service center director a letter , and the dept/off/contact from the person u received letter, with explaination.

I believe it should work. but may take few months to fix.


also contact Senator/congressman regarding this. they should definatly cooperate on this issue.

My PD is May 2000, should have visa available. I didn't get any response back from the inquiry, so don't know what's the problem.

I called FBI office today, but too late they have closed already, will try tomorrow again.

Send them fax and email today.............. don't leave todays work tommorow :D

I have just spoken with them and they say that the system does the update automatically every day.
But, I feel that she know something. She smiled on the phone and put me on hold to read something.
I believe that we are going to have good news soon.

Checked with FBI today, the fingerprint result was send back Oct. 28 2004, now I am wondering what else can go wrong...

Just got a letter from congressman's office, basicly told me that they put another inquiry for me... I don't have high hope for this, there has be 3 inquiries and no result. Anybody know other options?
