FP in columbus ohio ....

Two FP notices
Hi priyali,
1.I got my FP done before a month of scheduled date in Columbus,OH. Since I had to go on vacation for two weeks during the scheduled FP date, I went to the INS office and requested them to take my FP.With little hesitation they took mine and my wife's FP.
2.Some of my friends have recieved two FP notices, and they got thier FPs done on the earliest FP notification date.(Ofcourse they took advise from their GC attorny).

FP - 07/31/2002 - INS Columbus, OH
Had received two FP notices one for 7/31 and other for 8/21.
Took both notices to INS office on the first appt date (this was suggested by my lawyer). The person at the FP desk said she will go with the first FP notice, asked her specifically why I received two notices????
According to her there are lot of people in columbus area who have received 2 notices and she said it could be a system glitch.
Asked her specifically if it will have any impact on the 485 processing... Reply was NO, everything will be OK.
FYI, Regarding going before schedule for FP, When I was there for FP had seen couple of guys asking for early FP and they were sent back and asked to come on appt date.

It may be OK if you receive 2 FP notices after FP. What if you receive second FP notice after you have finished FP (according to the first one you received)?
We had that experience. Our lawyer suggested that INS some times does that and we may ignore it.
We went to the place where the second notice asked us to go for FP and told them that we have been FPed before (and shoed the receipt for the same).
They checked and said it was fine and we don't have to do it again!
Any such cases?
