FP in Boston - Pls post your exp and info

Folks who did FP in Boston pls post the info such as, Is the INS located on a T-Line or is there parking near by etc. And also Can we do it earlier, if so any particular day (wed or Saturday as indicated by some posts!). How long the whole process took? Thanks.

I believe it is near north station on the green line (its near the fleet center - check using mapquest etc.) my FP is scheduled for april 3rd, but I\'m also looking to go ahead of time.

T-Green D line North station, 2-5 minutes walking distance.
there are a few on street parking spaces but very difficult to find one available. there are parking garage but is more expensive.
FP takes a few minutes. I arrived around 11 am on a Thursday and there was no other people waiting. It took me longer to find a parking place then the FP process.
