FP help needed

How u doing ? I have FP Scheduled on 05/09/02 at Oakland. But I am in Chicago now..Is it possible for me to do the same here in Chicago by going to nearest INS office..If it is then what would I need to do ? Do I need to take any appointments ? What I need alongwith that as a proof to show ? Who sends the FP back to INS office ?

If you have proodf (new DL id) that

the scheduled INS office is more than 100 miles away, you can do FP at any local office. Take the notice and the INS office will pick the trail. FP goes to a central place(s) for processing separate from the service center adn the appropriate SC is updated of the results by FBI.
