FP Experience at Newark, NJ.
A lot of people are waiting to get FP done at Newark, NJ. We would really appreciate it, if people who have already done this could please post their experience at Newark ASC. What time to go, how long does it take, etc..

my experience....

go there at your designated time minus 1 hour....for us it was 8.00AM...so we stood in line around 7.30AM....there were 15-20 people ahead of us(but all of them were not for FP).....so you should be fine....they will ask you to fill a form(some details like A#, SSN..etc....)...take photo id with you(like driver\'s license/passport/EAD)....appointment letter.....and wait for your turn....it won\'t take more than 30 mins for the whole thing.......

the center is pretty close to newark penn station....you can park your car(there is plenty of parking around that place)..or you can even walk --- it\'s not more than 5-10 mins.......(the center is also open on Saturdays...so don\'t worry in case your FP letter mentions a Sat. date)......

Try to go for computerised FP

Newark has both manual and computersied FP. If you do it manually it takes around one month for the results to reach INS, on the other hand if you do computerised FP, results reach INS in few days .
