FP Experience at Detroit --Help Needed!!!!

I have received a FP notice to go to the Ins on 01/10/02 (EB3, Detroit, RD 07/02). I will not be able to go there on the date that they have specified. Has anyone had the experience of going for FP earlier than the date and time shown on the FP Notice. I am planning to go there tomorrow to see if they will do the finger priniting. Any suggestions??.

You will probably not get printed if you show up before your date. Call the FP Center at 313-259-8802 to see what to do. By the way, what was the Receipt Notice date on your I-485?

You can go earlier for FP

My attorney says, there is no problem in attending the Finger Print before date. Infact, he suggested me to go earlier as per my convenience (my FP schedule is : 01/17/01)

casanova, the so called scheduled FP is to bring some order and sense to FPing in INS. Some people d

the luck which plays a major role in getting GC. So, don\'t look for
concensus agreement. Go and try and take it easy either way, success or failure. FPs are not that critical. You still have to go
one more year to get GC, so you have time to do 10 times FP if you
wish!/.

INS will resend many times FP scheduling. YOur GC will not be rejected
even if you don\'t do FP for next 1 year. Even after that INS
will send another FP request to you.
