Guys,
I got my Finger prints registered at the ATLANTA App Supp Center.
Though it is a good news but i went through a tough time during the past few weeks. Here is the story..,
After getting the FP scheduled with the help of AddressChange/Faxing Letters/Mailing Letters/Contacting Senator/ etc.., i got my Finger prints scheduled for Aug 8th and i was on cloud 9. There was a huge thunderstorm in Atlanta around Aug 6th and i was shocked to learn that the INS Office in Atlanta was CLOSED (as the office was flooded) on the day of my Finger prints. I was wondering about my FATE.., They took my receipt promising that they will re-schedule my appointment. I was not sure how long it will take. I was checking my mail almost daily., Atlast i received the new appointment scheduled for Sep 8th (today) and we were looking forward to the new date.
But there comes FRANCES a week before my apptmt, and my wife and i were in tears when we heard that INS Office had power outages (due to FRANACES) yesterday and they were not sure if they will open today. But i checked the office this morning and i was glad to see that they were open. I had my appointment at 1:30pm. Checked in on time and after 15 minutes (felt like 15 hours) of wait time we got our finger prints taken..,
Guys beware of the Atlanta Office on Buford Hwy., its like a U shaped road (literally) and the office is in the middle..., When it rains more than an inch it floods..,
Anyhow atlast i got my finger prints done today... Waiting for the Next step...
