FP done on 9/20, AVM still not updated

Hi gurus, my case:

RD 02/14/01
ND 04/13/01
FP scheduled San Jose: 10/13/01
FP done early in San Jose: 09/20/01

Checked AVM, still says:
It is taking 999 days to process your case...

Is this normal? What should I do?

Just talked to IIO, she said it\'s still in the "file room", what does it mean?

CSC received my FP from FBI on 9/21. (She can only track it by my A#). She can not track it by my WAC#. She said according to my WAC# record, my file is in the "file room", it is not assigned to an officer yet.

Does this mean that I am still in system1? What are the steps after the file room?

If later someday AVM is updated on my WAC#, does it mean it is in system2 and out of file room?

Does system1 means tracking only by A#, and
system2 means tracking by WAC#?
Is file being in system2 good or in system1?

I think AVM is getting updated only for FP > 10/1.

Not sure about "File Room".

Did IIO tell you status after getting your WAC# or separately asked for A#?

IIO can only found out my FP record using A#

Not CSC#. Is it true that only FP done after 10/1 is updated on WAC#?

AVM not updated

I received my FP notice 2 weeks back and did it last week. AVM not updated that Fp notice has been sent. Same old message "it takes 975 to 999 days..."

AVM Updated

I received FP notice on 10/5 scheduled at Oakland for Nov-6.
Did finger printing ahead of schedule at SJ on 10/17.
AVM got updated on 10/23 saying that INS received FP from FBI on 10/23.
