FP done - NO LUD change !!

Myself and my wife had FP done in Dec 2005, no LUD updates till date.
I got a FP notice for my son(9 year old ) last week, and he finshed his FP on 3/15/06. No LUD updates on him too.

Is it normal to not see LUD updates after FP.
Any idea as to what is happening?

Followup

Mine was a I-140 and I-485 concurrent filing, I have had I-140 approved and have also got the EAD and AP approved.

Waiting on I-485.
