FP done as scheduled at Oakland but taken manually

I\'d my FP today (11/02/01) as scheduled but they took my FP manually instead on computer but my wife\'s FP is done on computer.
Is it ok? Anyone with similar experience, please post. How much time it takes to get to FBI?

Hi Deep
 It might cause a slight delay in FBI returning the results to INS.
 Electronically this takes a day or two
 Manually it takes 2-3 weeks.
 So there won\'t be much delay.
 And manual means they take ink prints on paper?
 And why did they do that? why was not taken electronically? were they out of machines at that particular time?

They were machines but busy and there were two guys taking manual. The called up my number and i was with guy who was doing manual.

i think you should not worry then.
 sometimes they do manual when the machine constantly says ridges broken and can not scan correclty.
 in your case, they were doing as a regular practice. so you should not worry.
 
Same thing happened to us.

My wife did the manual fp. I think it will be delayed a little bit. thats all.

Hi,

My FP was done manually....It reached the FBI within 5 days...My husbands was done on the machine...His reached the same day...So basically there was a 4 day delay

hi deep varma,
 so it is a couple of weeks only for transfer from INS ASC-->FBI-->back to INS for manual ASC
 so do not worry too much about it and you will be fine.
