FP Delay -- Talked to IIO now

My RD --> 16-JAN-2001.

Wanted to give change of address and inquire about the FP (I haven\'t recd it till now). Talked to a nice lady, and she told me that the case has been transfered yesterday to the unit which handles FP and I should be receiving it anytime between 1 to 4 weeks.

FYI for those guys waiting for FP like me.

Can we call IIO and change the address directly.. will this effect all further documents ??

FYI: My RD 08/03/01 ND 09/07/01 No FP yet.. recvd EAD/AP in Nov.

AP recd by attorney --> 08-JAN-2002
Waiting for FP/ EAD renewal (Current EAD Valid till 27-FEB-2002).

I have changed my address once before (Feb-2001) and my attorney sent the forms to INS. I called later to confirm the change of Address. This time, I called INS directly and gave the Change of address and the lady updated the same once for each Receipt (485/EAD/AP).
