I think, the FP date is playing an important role in recent approvals. My RD is Feb 1st, 2002 and I did my FP on 4/1/2002. I got a notice for 2nd FP. But, for the people whose FP might expire in the near future, BCIS is approving their cases, so that they don't have to appear for 2nd FP .
My original scheduled FP was on 4/30/2002, but I went early and did it on 4/1/2002 itself. That time, I was happy to complete the FP earlier than scheduled. Seems like that totally screwed me up.
