FP - Before Schedule

We are scheduled for FP on 4/24/01. Does anybody know if we can go to INS office before that date?
Also, would anybody tell what ND and RD stands for?

Yes u can if ASC ( where u go for FP ) accepts FP before schedule..
ND - NOTICE DATE
RD - RECEIPT DATE

Do you know if there is any disadvantage in going to ASC before FP scheduled date?
Also, would it reduce time for I-485 approval if we go for FP before scheduled date and ASC accepts us?

Mine didn\'t accept. saturday i went for FP and my date is 4/18 and officer ask me to come on that day. :(

I think if you go there at the off peak hours, they will let you do it. I did get reject at first time, cause let of people(maybe 60) were waiting at that time, they all have the appointment at that day. And then I went second time around 2:30pm, there are only around 10 people were waiting, and they let me do it without any problem.

no disadvantage? for sure. advantage? maybe maybe not. Look at that Jan ND approval. if they went for FP on scheduled date 4/21, how could they possibly get approvals last week???
