FP is electronic at Newark.
Don\'t know if you can go early, since the security guard on the door checks your appointment form. Might be worth a try, since the worst that can happen is that they\'ll turn you away after standing in line for an hour.

You can go early. I did it. They says that you need to go in certain week time period. If you can not go within that week time period, you can go any given Wednesday. I went to Wednesday (My wife went on Saturday). The line is little bit longer on Wednesday. They took the finger print and did not ask single question.
