I applied for I-485 (family based) in Chicago in October 1999. The reciept letter indicated it would take about 18 months for the final interview. So I was hoping to get a fingerprint notice sometime soon. However, I just came to know that now the processing time in Chicago is over two years. Can anyone who has applied for I-485 in Chicago share their experience?
