FP appointment

Is it advised to go get the FP done before the scheduled appointment?
Any one has any bad experiences?
My ASC is portland.

I haven\'t seen any adverse effect yet and no evidence either that doing FP will expedite 485 approval. It is one of those myths...

I485 ND: 3/30/01
FP notice received: 8/24/01
FP scheduled: 10/3/01
FP took in ASC: 8/30/01
I485 AD: 9/25/01
Approval received: 9/28/01
Passport stamped: 10/1/01

We have said this all along -- doing finger prints
ahead of schedules has a slight advantage to your
case. This is just an observation.

I did my FP early, not because I believe it will
speed my case up much, but because on the FP
notice it says if you don\'t get FPed by the date
or reschedule FP your case will be considered Abandonded!
