FP appoinment - Code 3... What does it mean?

Hello All,

This might look like a stupid question, in fact it may well be a stupid question.

I filed for the I-485 in 07/2005, and have never received anything besides the receipt of the application. I just got an appoinment for Biometrics and it says code 3 on the notice.

What does it mean? I've never got any requests for evidence, or stuff that other people wirtes about.

What's the next step after the biometrics?

This has been answered many times
Code 1 = all 10 fingerprints
Code 2 = index fingerprint, signature, picture
Code 3 = all of the above
