Honest advice

Start watching this site after atleast 3-4 months. The information is addictive and force you to visit the site so frequently everyday and then cause you to be frustrated as not seeing any progress at lightening speed. Not discouraging but just what I have felt. In case of any issues with your case, then this site is very helpful. There are lot of great people to advice and once a while I see the administers of this site answering. The combination of this plus rupnet has been great.
 
Check the March 2002 Tracker thread in the VSC 485 tracker forum. For some reason, April 8-10 ND filers have not received FP notices. No clue regarding this as even May/June/July filers have received FP notices. Just waiting. (My ND 4/9/02)

Still no answer for me also. I am also in the same boat. My RD is 03/22/2002 and ND is 04/10/2002.(state is MD).

Can anyone of you with the above dates tell us about ur FP status???

st8 ...Malu...I had my FP today..ND 04/09/2002

As posted earlier, my attorney had called the INS around July, 2002 after constant presurring him, and he got my appointment.

Today Sept 3rd I had my FP appointment, and reached there 15 min earlier, went in, filed a form, was called immediately, computerized FP for me and my wife, Supervisor checked prints, said they are OK, and we came out in 20 minutes.

Hope it is as smooth as this further on...

So guess I broke the trend for Apr 8-10 ND FPs, hope all get in due course of time...Call your attornies or if filed self call the IIO

Can you tell us what was the problem in your case. As i only have to speak to IIO as my attorney doesnt answer my emails or Telephone numbers. Why i am asking all these as I can talk to IIO and get things clarified.I have only one way to do it by calling IIO.

Also what do you mean by computerised FP. Is it different from the regular FP, If so, can you please let us know the difference.

count me in...

I am one of those unlucky 4/8 - 4/10 filers. Talked to my attorney yesterday and mentioned this to him. He told me not to worry about FP. As long as it's done before approval of I-485 it'll be OK. Looks like he's not gonna make any phone call to IIO for me. I'll wait for one more month and see what's happening.
 
same here

I have same situation here. My lawyer didn't worry about my FP either, she said FP later is better, more closer to approval. I don't know whether it's true. Hopefully we will get PF soon.

You can call IIO and then ask them to schedule for Manual finger Printing. Because after 210 days from your RD, you can request for scheduling for Manual Finger Printing.

So you can ask your attorney to call IIO to schedule for Manual finger printing. Then you will ge the FP notice within 30 days.

Or if you dont have attorney, then you have to do.

rd : 03/22 nd : 04/10 no FP yet

My wife's I-485 - RD : 03/22/02 and ND : 04/10/2002 but no FP yet??? Lawyer is not ineterested in doing anything... In the past when I called IIO's they were not helpful either as they said that it was an automatic process and will happen by itself!!! Couldn't argue with them.

Any suggestions?
