FP# 2 Recd. WAC-02-063. Has any done FP at BCIS Oakland earlier than ScheduledDate?

I recd Second Finger Printing Notice dated 9/29 on last Saturday. The FP is scheduled three weeks from now at BCIS Oakland.

Has anyone done Finger Printing at Oakland earlier than the Scheduled date? Please share your experience.


Thought for the Gurus & WSC_Processing_Pattern-watchers: My Lawyer filed on 9/26 Friday, the third AP well in advance (current AP expires in six months). To my expectation, I recd this FP#2 notice dated 9/29 Monday. Whether this FP filing moved my file or CSC started processing DEC cases?

I think you meant AP filing.

And yes, people have done FP earlier than scheduled date at Oakland center. I remember reading on this forum sometime ago.
 
Question to my Lawyer: Has the Advance Parole filing last week helped to start process my 485 file at WSC?.

NO. THE ADVANCE PAROLE APPLICATION IS REVIEWED AND ADJUDICATED BY A DIFFERENT ADJUDICATING OFFICER.
 
PM_CSC, I would have to agree with your lawyer. I received my second FP notice last saturday. I didn't apply for AP. I did apply for EAD three months back. Notification date for FP is Oct 1. Appearance date is Oct 29. I'm planning to do it early. I'm in San Jose.

How do you do early? You go straight in person or Call them up to know whether they allow earlier appearance?
 
For first fp i did early fp at san jose office(story road) even though my location was oakland. San jose office is not very stringent but i guess oakland is. I just walked in and waited in line for my turn.

based on mood of guy in entrance WHEN I had my finger print done last year , two times they said no for earlier date than acutall date on receipt, since I am working in oakland I gave FP in third attempt saying that original FP DATE I won't be in station.

PM_CSC, like others mentioned I will just appear for an early FP. If I'm lucky, they will accept. I work very close to San Jose FP location, so it's very convenient.
