Forum GURUS, Advice: TSC May 12, 2003 - EB3 - 140/485 concurrent - nothing yet $%^#$%

TSC May 12, 2003 filed - EB3 - 140/485 concurrent - did FP in Dec '04 and spouse Feb '05. Couple of 140 status enquiries just resulted in "Your case is assigned to an Immigration Officer" Verified with FBI - they cleared name check stuff same day they received them

Called USCIS Cust service - they say that all concurrently filed 140s will be processed with 485 dates (which is March 04th for TSC right now ).

Does this makes sense to anybody ?

Is there anybody out there that is in a similar situation?

Does Senator query help ???

congressman and senators can definitely help find out information about your case... I know mine helps a lot but you need to keep on bogging them.
I am in the same situation as you (see below) but my case is even older.
I would strongly suggest you contact your elected official.

By the way, it isn't true anymore than all the I-140 are processed with the I-485 all the time...

thanks a bunch for your response. Good to know I'm not alone, I know it's sad to say that in our situations.

I have read from several postings here that Senator queries result in RFEs and may of them in some cases. What's your take?

EVERYBODY - pl. let me know what you think. I'm F#$@#$@ tired of this S@#$ getting delayed forever

I don't think it is necessarly true that you would get an RFE. I haven't got one. I am still in contact with the congressman's office so it is to be continued.
