Form I-765 Duplicate submission

Hi everyone,

I am married to a US citizen and i have applied for I-485, I-130 and I-765 in August 2005. since then i had the I-485 interview and presently stuck in name check. I have been renewing my 765 and 131 from then on. This time when i submitted my I-765 for renewal I messed up and instead of sending the application to chicago lockbox, i sent it to the san anotnio district office address. I know that the mail has been received in san antonio but i havent received any receipt info nor the check for 180 has cleared. I called customer service and the officer said that i should have sent the application to chicago and not san antonio. The problem now is that i am not sure if my application will be re routed to chicago or if it will be sent back to me. If i dont know about it by july 30 i have to reapply with new fee of 340. What can i do in such a scenario. can i send the application to chicago with 180 fee before july 30th and assume that they will process only one application incase my first application is sent to chicago ? or will they process both applications ?

any help and suggestions are appreciated. thanks in advance
 
Stop check on the one sent to San Antonio. Call them and tell them you wish to withdraw your petition.

Send a new one and new check to Chicago Lockbox.

Sorry for the ignorance but how do i withdraw the one from san antonio. they dont have anything on record yet. So how and whom should i call to withdraw or cancel the one i sent to aantonio. The uscis customer service immigration officer said unless its on the record/system they cant know what exactly happened to my application and that in some cases the san anonio office may actually forward it to the right place which is chicage lock box. Any help please
 
any help guys please. I only got a couple of days left before i end up paying almost 2 times the fee right now. 180 now compared to 340 after july 30 which is a big amount for me. please advice me.
 
just talked to another customer service rep(not officer) and he is saying that if the application is sent to wrong address, they almost alwatys forward it to the right processing center and that it should be Ok. If anyone has had this done related to their applications can you please post it. thank you
 
yay i got my receipt just in time. So it seems like San Antonio office did forward it to the right place. Thanks everyone for helping out
