FORM I-765 (application for employment authorization) Question...Please Help!

Im filing in the AOS package (I-765, I-130, & I-485) based on my wife (US citizen).

On I-765, what should I put under #16? (Again, Im filing in for GC based on my spouse citizenship)

It's asking for Eligibility Category.
Also its asking 'Go to Part 2 of the Instructions' : I am not sure of where would that be...

Since you are filing for adjustment of status - I485, your category is (c)(9). See quote below from instruction to form I-765.

Adjustment Applicant--(c)(9). File your EADapplication with a copy of the receipt notice or other evidence that your Form I-485, Application for Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, is pending.You may file Form I-765 together with your Form I485.

I-765 form current status as an unemployed H1-B

hello, I entered the US through legitimate H1-B visa but got laid off 3 months ago. What can I put down under question 15 "Current Immigration Status" on I-765? my latest I-94 says H1B expiring Feb 2014 though I know for sure my H1-B visa is no longer valid since i'm unemployed and my previous employer has reported to USCIS.
