Hi,

Thanks for all your help! I have another question now.

In form i-485, in Part 3, a question reads:
"Were you inspected by a U.S. Immigration Officer?"

Does this mean the immigration interview (including inspection of visa and other documents) when I 94 is issued , or some inspection beyond that?

Thanks again,
Raashi

Thanks for your reply.

This again I was confused about because in the Misinformation Center told me that 'Inspection here means that the officer should have checked your luggage etc...not the interview for i-94'.
This was in the same call that they mis-informed me that 'I-864 should be notarised.'

I am surprised that there is no check/control on the information issued by their official information call center.

Thanks again.

luggage inspection is done by customs officers. It has nothing to do with immigration. It is a misinformation line.
