Form DS-230 - Part 2 - answer

It seems like you are supposed to answer "No" to all categories in Section 30.

"Do any of the following classes apply to you?"

So how does one justify answering NO to Category "e":
"An alien who seeks to enter for the purpose of performing skilled or unskilled labor who has not been certified by the Secretary of Labor....."


Of course most immigrants are entering to perform labor and most would not be certified yet if they have no US visa at all, right?

I worry answering YES would knock out my application even though I totally meet all requirements.

I guess the real question is here.
And, you should say no, as you are supposed to be willing to work legally.

The sentence of question '30 e' continues and gives an example for a medical position: you should not perform medical procedures if you have not been certified.
