Forgot the Check for the Fee

My wife's temporarily green card expires next month. We just mailed off the forms yesterday but totally forgot to put the check in. What should we do? Can we give USCIS a check? Can we go to the local office and give it? Do we just need to mail the form/papers again?
 
You filed an I-751 right? It will come back due to lack of funds. Re-send it then and attach a cheque this time. :)
