Foreigner give birth to a child in US

I am a student (F1 visa) here in US, I am about to give birth to my child here in US. I know my child will automatically be US citizen, but will I be able to stay here and take care of my kid?


please help me.....
 
I had a baby a few months back and basically the feedback I have had from my lawyer is as follows - since you are the guardian of an american citizen - the US government would have a very hard time throwing you out - that doesn't necessarily make you legal - but it gives you a certain amount of security. Once your child is 21 he/she - can apply for a green card for you - with the current speed of the ins processing for green cards - this may be your fastest route !!!!!!!
