Foreign trained radiologic technologist wants to know how to migrate to USA

I just came across this forum. We are looking for MRI(2) CT(1)and xray tech(1) in outpatient clinic in Alabama but unable to find even after advertising a few months. What degree do you have, are you already a rad tech? I'm interested in exploring the opportunity.
Hello.... I'm a female radiological technologist currently in Kenya practicing with 4 years experience and would really appreciate the opportunity. I have my credentials already assessed by WES and willing to undertake registry exam upon hire as I am eligible. I will be glad to hear much from you.
Kind Regards,
Jemimah

Hello, Jhoov.
I have just recently seen your message.
I am a female radiological technologist with a BSc in radiography and radiological sciences. I am currently practicing in Nigeria and I have 2years post graduate experience and 4 years clinical experience (undergraduate).
I am interested in this great opportunity and I am currently in the process of getting my credentials evaluated by WES. Also, I am BLS certified and willing to write the ARRT registry exams or whichever registry exams are required.

I would be happy to get a positive feedback.

Thank you for your kind consideration.

Regards,
Chisom.

I don't think you have to have arrt here in Alabama but I'll confirm it. I actually had a conversation with HR to start checking on logistics. If you already have a green card I think it makes it easier. If you thinkbyou might be interested let's stay in touch.
I don’t have a green card, but I’m still interested

Hello Dan,

I am a Breast Imaging Radiographer in the Uk (mammography technician). My background is diagnostic radiographer. I have worked since 2018. I did a three year bachelors degree in diagnostic radiography. After that I specialised in breast imaging post graduate diploma and been working as mammographer since 2019. I recently qualified in breast imaging reporting too. I was interested in exploring if i could work in the usa but i am struggling to find any as my licence in the uk is HCPC but the USA is ARRT. Please message or advise about requirements.

"To migrate to the USA as a foreign-trained radiologic technologist, you'll need to have your credentials evaluated, pass the relevant certification exams, and obtain a visa. Check with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for specific requirements and steps."
