Foreign language requirements

Hello,

The company I work for is applying for a labor certificate using the standard procedure. For the special requirements for the position they said that they requre the employee to speak foreign language based on the fact that the company has customers in another country. The My employer showed contracts with the foreign company and samples of the work we did for them.

My question is: Will I have to prove in any moment how much are the foreign companies paying us, and do I have to show that the money we get from them are more then my salary? Who may ask me for these kind of documents?

Thanks for your answers.

That is none of their concern how much you get and how much company makes. Your salary slip and company's financial status is always needed.

Thank you for the quick reply.

So I am not supposed to show the payments from these foreign companies?

How can you get direct payments for what your company is doing? Please bring me in sync. By the way what does your company do - it can cause problems, if it voilates regulations. For ex - selling morphine is perhaps not allowed. (ask Rummy) :o

We are making web sites for them, no drugs , nothing illegal :o)

I just may not be able to show documents for payments.

The language is bulgarian. And for my surprice the immigration specialist in IDES (is that the same as DOL???) is not asking me anymore to prove the language requirements.

I posted that question because I want to know if someone else will ask me about the work we did for the foreign companies - I am afraid we are not going to have these customers for a very long time.

I am trying to solve this case by myself with information on the Internet and sometimes with consultations with lawers. I've seen already 4 different lawers, 2 of them told me I have to show payments from the foreign companies, 2 of them said I will not be required to show payments. That's why I ask you guys.

Language Advertisements

I saw hundreds of ads for specific langauges requirements. These published for RIR. Proof of foreign affiliation is required to show evidences where english is not a primary langauge for business transactions, China, Japan, France, middle east/Gulf are few of them. Print and electronic media are essentially require language skills at proficiency level both written and spoken.

No you do not have to show any payments from other countries. It can be covered in your employer's financial details.

Anyway for the time being Dobr Den.

Please feel free not to respond in Bulgarian - that is 10 % of what I know.

P.S. Assur has his own language - Aasuri Pravirti - no ad though. :o

My brother got GC based on Bangoli.

That was very nice
Dobr den to you too :o)

My last question is
Is there place on the finantial documents from my company showing how much income do we have from foreign countries?

Molya!

INS may ask you - may not ask you. It is really hard to say - however your company needs to show financial strength - you need to keep those papers ready. I would wait until INS specifically asks for papers from applicant(RFE) - which I am sure won't happen. If you submit in begining it will raise more questions and you may get RFE(more likely.).

If that was last one then Do vizhdane. :o
