hi ciba,
first of all keep up the good job.
just wanted let u know ( so others may benifit --- i hope ) that my i-485 got approved on may 12, 2001 & got pp stamping done on june 13th, 2001. i had read so much about pp stamping problems in csc like getting up & going there at 12-1.00 am , having 2 stand in lines & possiblly sleep there also, that i was kind of scared 2 go there so early in the morning with my 4 yr. old daughter. but i was lucky as i received an appointment letter for my passport stamping at 11 am & the whole process took less than 20mins.
by the way this took place at the ins office on soto street.
now my question 2 u is that how long does it take 2 receive the actual green card in the mail. can we travel on pp stamping, for how long will i have 2 continue 2 work for the same employer who sponscered me without he creating any problems for me. a
any inputs would be highly appriciated.
