For those who did not get a yes/no answer at the end of their interview

How long did it take before the answer came in by mail.

As I mentioned here, my IO did not approve/disaprove my application at the end of the interview and said he will need to defer the decision to his supervisor.

So, for those of you who did not receive an answer at the end of the interview, how long did you have to wait for the answer to come by mail? My IO said it will take about 2 weeks, but I'm just curious as to the average wait time on these kinds of issues.

TIA

I doubt you can collect sufficient data to see a pattern. Nothing you can do
but wait. Open the mailbox each day with hope and get disappointed to see no letter from USCIS. But eventually it will come. May better not to open it right away but take a deep breath, tell yourself you are prepared for either kinc of results, then open it, then Big surprise

A lot of people start timeline threads...but I have not seen anyone compie all the data yet. Surveys might be a better way, as people on these forums might already be the folks facing more delays and coming for advice.

By law they are supposed to give you an interview results letter. Did you not get one after interview?

Nope, didn't receive anything at the end of the interview...

The IO was supposed to give you a interview results letter. You can always schedule Infopass and request to speak with a supervisor and explain you didn't get the letter and by law was supposed to get it.

meh... the office is a good hour and half away. I can't take another day off just for an infopass to find out why I didn't get the form :(
