For those who changed job 180 days after 485 filing

My 180 day after 485 filing is approaching. I am considering if I should change a job. My current job is stable but bit boring.
I notice many people here changed their jobs when 180 day bar lifts. I want to ask you --- Did you change your job mainly because your former employment wasn't stable enough, or just because you want to have a better job ?

I am hesitating at this moment because if I change and go to a new place, I am afraid what if the new job isn't stable and I get laid off ? The current job is stable but not exciting.

Anybody has the same thought ? anybody wants to share some thought ?
 
oh man

to get a stable job wait for GC is a luxury for some other people! Once you go through some layoff you will understand what a stable job means for AOS!!

There are thousands and thousands of highly qualified candidates willing to take your job.
Consider yourself lucky for having that atleast STOP.
 
it'll be a bad move to switch now. wait until another 6 mos and you're adjudicated. hell, there are lots of ways to get fired or laid off after GC without arousing suspicion. so do that.
