For those of you EB-based GC, when did you leave your sponsoring employer?

Just wondering, for those of you who got GC sponsored by employers, how long after green card did you leave the sponsoring employer?

And have any of you got any problem at citizenship interview due to leaving the sponsoring employer too soon?

I am still with my original employer however my original employer no longer exists. Paradox? No, just series of mergers and acquisitions.

I worked for my original I-140 sponsoring employer for 18 months since my GC date. One day a recruiter called me, inviting me to an interview to a great company. After they made me an offer - I couldn't resist a 30% pay raise.. so I left the organization, which is BTW a great place to work for, and is more of a mission-driven organization..

I got a new job 9 months after getting the GC.....I got a 70% pay increase at that time..boy, was I ever happy!....haven't had even a tenth of that kind of increase ever since. Unimaginable in these days of recession.

I left the sponsoring employer 12 months after filling my I-485 (AC21). No problem with N-400. Take it easy!

I left my sponsoring employer 6 weeks after getting the GC.

Do you think it's going to be a problem during naturalization?

It would only be a problem if the USCIS has reason to believe that when you started the GC process you already had the intention of changing employers as soon as you got the GC because that would then be classed as immigration fraud. Since they would need some compelling evidence for that, this is a very unlikely scenario.

I was not with sponsered company

I was not with company with sponsered company . I was laid off when 485 is in process . I have the letter with me . I got my next job after 9 months . is that going to be a problem?
