Hello Rana,

I think I saw this on the misc.immigration.ca board, or at the
chang and boos site...but the fact that an rrp has been refused
does not mean your PR is at stake. If you return back to Canada
in 6 months you should be fine. The problem is that it will go
into your record that you have been refused rrp.

Can you convince him by filing a canadian tax return ?
or opening bank account, renting a place( i know this sounds too
grandoise), applying for admission at the local university ?
Prove that you have not applied for US green card, maybe then
he will believe or show your offer letter that states the contract
agreement.
