for name check vicitms - is 2nd FP a certainty?

Hi,

One (may be stupid) question.

Those of us who are stuck in name check..will we have to go for second FP?
and

is second FP an indication of good things to come i.e IL OR is it just that they will automatically send out after 15 months of your first FP(and case is pending) ?

Experts please advise.

They don't USUALLY send FP for all cases stuck for more than 15 months until there is some developement in the case.. I think it is a good sign... I have not received notice for 2nd FP in my case yet... so YOU be positive.

Per the FBI a fingerprint is good for 6 months as that ( i assume) how often they refresh their database.
They probably collect Fingerprints of all Perps and every 6 month they add the Fresh Perps to the database
