For Interim EAD: 90 days means from what day. Do i Need one?

My GC is in process at the Vermont Center.
My first EAD expires on 23 June 2004. I applied for the extension for which I have a receipt:

Received Date: April 5 2004
Notice Date: April 7 2004

1. If the extension EAD does not come by 23 June 2004, what does it mean as far as my status and employment is concerned?

2. Do I have to take any additional step like applying for an Interim EAD? I read about this in a few posts, but am bit confused.

3. If I shd apply for I-EAD, when should I do that. I read about 90 days, but did not understand which 90 days? Does it mean 90 days after current EAD expires and still new did not come? Looking at the above dates, what date would I have to go to apply for an I-EAD?
 
for pt. 1) If your EAD does not come by 23 June 2004, you will have to stop working. One option that you have is to take an unpaid leave of absence. You cannot work till you have the new renewed EAD in your hand. If you do work with an expired EAD, it can cause problem for you with your 485 adjudication.

for pt. 2) You can apply for Interim EAD only after 90 days... I am not 100% sure whether it is the RD or the ND, but I think you can go for IEAD 90 days after April 7 2004 (i.e. Notice Date).

Please recheck with your lawyer...

------- from the 90 days AFTER reciept date(RD) of EAD renewal filing you can go for iEAD.

guys,

If EAD does not come after 23 June, I am planning to tell my company to not issue me a paycheck after 23 June till the day I get my EAD or Interim EAD. Then I will try to make some arrangements so that they pay me later in some form, wich I can talk with my CPA.

I will continue working during that period.

Any ideas?
