For H1B Stamping, does bank balance matter?

Has anybody had any experience or know anyone who has had problems due to low bank balance in the accout statements. If yes, what is a good amount?

--- I have not read that they ask Bank statements if it is first H1b stamp how one can have US bank statements? if you going to get Visa stamp out of US better to keep latest 2-3 bank statements they can ask anything these days.

The list of documents online does ask you to get Personal Bank Statements for the past 6 months.
 
if u go to the bank and ask them a consolidated statement for the last 1 year or so, they will churn out someting for you. its good to keep statements for the past 6 months
