For H1 Visa

Hi,
My brother is applying for F1 visa and I got my status changed to H1 recently. First is it wise to put my name in the visa application form? I need to get my H1 visa later this year. Hopefully by that time he will be here. So then would there be any problem if I put his name in my H1 visa application?

If you are in valid h1 status

there is no harm in putting your name (as what? sponsor?) in your bro\'s F1 application form.
I do not see the relevance of putting his name in your h1 form
