Mine and my spouse's are among them and already FPed.

Result om May. 7, 2003.

FPed: 21 cases
FP sent: 2
Mis: 3
Approved: 1 on May 5, 2003.
Others are received.

Search on MAy 24:

1 received case was transferred on May 15. Others are the same.

I will continue the study until my case is approved.

OOCYTE,
Are the 75 cases you are saying belong to 485. If not how many i485?.

485 with a ND of oct '02 got approved in may '03 ? Are you sure?
any idea abt the nationality of this case?

I have no idea what kind of case it is. Maybe it is high priority cases, like investors with big bucks.

BTW, NDs are all Oct. 4, 2002.

Is there any body who might explain what difference does it really make your country of nationality or your type of case whether EB1, EB2, EB3, etc.

it doesnot matter anylonger

with pd dates open for all categories it doesnot matter any longer. nor does your pd dates count any more esp in texas . there are people in 2002 late who have been approved while 2001 or prior cases are still open

Long time ago, I read somewhere that there was a maximum amount of I-485 cases per country/nationality that could be approved per year. Also read about giving preferences whether it was EB1, EB2 or EB3. But, these could be inaccurate and tombaan might be right.

If anyone has more information on these please post your thoughts.

This is almost true, but the limit is actually controlled by I-140. If you I-140 is approved, then it is just a matter of time waiting for your I-485 to be processed.
