- The following members mailed their RFE reply on the following dates. It again takes about 7 dates for the message to change to "RFE Reply Received". Are you pretty sure your lawyer mailed the response? :) Just checking ...

Reply was received on 02/06/04. Since then there has been no progress. My case was with office 16 and there a lot of other cases with the same officer that have not seen any movement since the RFE reply was recceived by USCIS. It is a painful waiting game but there is nothing we can do at this stage ....

fjaffery - One good thing about officer # 450 is, even though he/she sends out the highest number of RFEs, he/she approves the I-485 within 7 days of receiving the "RFE Reply". Just like him/her, hope officer # 16 starts working on your case soon ... Good luck.

I am in the same boat as Fjaffery. My case is being adjudicated by the famous officer #016. My RFE reply was received on 02/10 and my wife's was received on 02/06. Since then nothing is happening. I called the senator and the congressman, that was a mistake. They are not helpful at all. I send two faxes for a request-to-expedite and nothing happened neither. Bottom line we all are waiting on officer#016's mercy if he/she has any.

Bajjis,

Thanks for starting this thread, yeah, my lawyer sent an email that he was sending RFE yesterday (after 4 weeks) after good amount of PUSH from all corners. Hope he is right and I will check some time next week and see how it goes.

BTW, my officer# 295, are there any cases that were assigned to #295 ? I did not find any of the RFEs (atleast who ever posted their officer#) that are assigned to #295.

Let me know guys,

THanks,
Why-R

I received a RFE on 02/09 from officer #25.
RFE Received by USCIS on 02/26.
Waiting for Approval. Also FP expires in another 10 days.
RFE was for immunozations.

My case is also with #016. No luck yet since they received the response to RFE on 2/6. Maybe he or she is still on vacation or something. Hope for the best.

I just happened to get to an IIO on the 1-800 number instead of the usual supervisor. Gave me some BS about 485 being a 2-4 year process. I said the receipt says 700 days. She says this does not include "human factors" like officer is sick, on leave, etc. Your officer 16 seems to be one of those... Anyway its just ridiculous. There's no human factor listed on the receipt. Talk about trying to give excuses......... highly unprofessional..
