Hi - I am a U.S. citizen and filed an I-130 petition for my siblings in November 2008. The petition was approved in 2010, and since then I have been monitoring the Visa Bulletin for updates regarding the priority date.

According to the most recent Visa Bulletin, the "Dates for Filing" for the relevant category have now advanced to January 2009. However, I have not yet received any communication from the National Visa Center (NVC) or the Department of State regarding the next steps.

Could you please advise on the expected timeline for receiving correspondence or official instructions? Additionally, is there an alternative method to follow up on the case status or initiate the next steps?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi, @xplorer, I am also in same situation, and I just had some for my brothers in July and August, and received the letter within in 2 weeks, Hence, you might get the email/welcome letter from National Visa Center, just wait and check your provided email periodically,

Thank you!

Will I receive welcome-letter at my USA address or only my siblings will receive in their home country?
Also, will there be both email & letter sent?

You will receive in your email address and your sibling if their email in the file, mine one was only mine and I have added once I got welcome letter and Log in information email, where you will have IV case number along with the Passcode for the CEAC website for all Fee and application process,

Just look for those email you may get in week or so, have your sibling ready for the documents and if Fee as needed

I just checked the I-130 form I submitted back in 2008, and it looks like there wasn’t a section to enter an email address at the time.

How did you provide an email for your siblings? And do you know if it’s still possible to add that information now? Thanks!

In our case only the petitioner got the letter.

I got the Welcome letter for my brother last month and I have added inside the CEAC website once you get the logging information, once I added my brother email back home, they sent welcome letter to his email as well,
However, I have paid the amount, received receipt, but it went back to "Pay Now" and no money taken out from my account, sent to Public Inquiry form last week and yesterday, they said that the are reviewing, hope the resolve soon and take the fee soon and we can start the process,
Any suggestion?

Hi everyone - I finally received the case-creation email for my siblings with lnvoiceID info.
When I made payment - instead of giving me payment confirmation I get white overlay stating "Submitting your payment please wait..."
It stays in this state for over 5+ minutes and when I try to login back into the page it shows in-progress.

Has anyone else experienced such payment issue?
