Follow-to-join

Hello All

Has any one done Follow-to-join. Please tell me what needs to be done for follow-to-join. What Forms need to filed etc. My wife is in India she has not visited US at all. My I-485 case has been assigned to an officer. I was told i can do follow-to-join only after my approval. Please tell me how to do Follow-to-join and how long is the processing time in Chennai Consulate,India.

Just talked to Cust.Serv.Rep at CSC

Just talked to a Cust. Serv. Rep. at CSC about my I 485 (RD: mid. Dec 02). She said they are processing cases w/ RD of June 2001. So have to wait for at least 4-5 months.
