Follow to Join - How much time it will take ?

You have to be in H1B status here in order to be able to bring her here on H4. Look at your I94 and you'll see that your status is not H1B.
Even if thanks to some magical forces you will be able to get H4 visa for her, this status inconsistency issue may arise later on I485 interview. So if you are a gambler then go ahead.
However I would still try to look at other options (i.e. change an employer, and try to get a brand new h1 visa)

INS has the position that if you have approved H1 and work for the H1 employer then ur status remains H1, if the I-9 says so. That is despite the fact that u entered on AP. Same holds true for L1 as well.

There was a memo to this effect in the last 2-3 months. You can search for it if u like, i done have the patience right now.

So this guy is in H1 despite using AP to enter the country if he is maintaing his H1 status with his sponsor employer

I don't know. May be it is ok for Immigration services but it may not be ok for an Embassy. In my case they were asking for a copy of my Visa so after returning on AP i had to go to the On the Border conculate, get visa stamped and get back to the US on a new status.

If they reject her h4 , i dont have any chance than to wait for my 485 to approve and start follow to join :(

If you don't mind, can you tell me how much less on W2 compare to LCA. What are the reasons you are writing for this less salary.

I am in the same situation, but only difference is, it is to my son.

Its almost 30% less ...They actually asked for explanation from my company but they refused to give any and asked me to come in AP .

This time for my wife i am just giving 2003 w3 (which is ok) , there is a chance they overlook and approve and if not i always have this follow to join.

And from the long follow-to-join thread it seems its just take 3-4 months for follow to join cases at chennai consulate . This is good news

Do you mean 3-4 months after your I-485 gets approved (which takes more than 15 months - so the total time is 15+4 = 19 months) OR 3-4 months even before your case gets approved?

Which thread do you mention. Can you post the link here?
Is there any other link which describes the whole process... I am hearing pocket3, interview etc... but dont have a clue what is all these and their timeslines. Gurus, your help will be appreciated.
