Also, UserId: VKR. posted an approval on 01/20/03. I know there were some doubts about this posting. Any update??
 
Isn't that the same thing? I am not quite sure but if a service center in NSC's jurisdiction approves a case that should automatically imply that NSC has indeed lifted the freeze on approvals. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.....
 
Though local INS comes under NSC jurisdiction I would wait to see approvals happen at NSC. The only conclusion I can make is that NSC has lifted the freeze but their is no one at NSC to approve our cases ....
 
that was local center, its not same as NSC approving.

this is jan 23rd approval.
 
Is there a way to verify that this is a NSC approval and not a local INS office approval again?

Does INS update online status soon if the case is approved at a local INS office?
 
local ins offices are approving

I hear that the chicago ins office is approving 485s. No approvals as yet from NSC.:mad:
 
I think NSC is approving cases but at

a snail's pace. This LIN number is most probably not from the local INS. But there is not certainty to say that it is from the service center.
