Folks, can I renew EAD at local ASC?

My EAD renewal receipt is about 60days into the process. the current EAD expires in mid June. I am using EAD to work and employer keep asking to show proof of new EAD. Strange things is, spouse\'s EAD got approved 3 weeks ago. i\'m still waiting, even though i\'m the primary applicant.

Lawyer said, receipt needs to show >90 days before ASC will allow renewal. is that true? thanks a bunch.

Lawyer is right.

But at boston INS they issue EAD left and right. Maybe your local INS might also issue your interim. Doesn\'t hurt to try.
