Folks: i got the email from FBI confirming that a] no record was located based on FOIPA check b] name check results were forwarded in Mar 2003 over 1.5 years ago. Meantime, my fingerprints were re-submitted at Philadelphia ASC on 9/24/04 & again on 10/06/04 and have confirmed with FBI that they were deemed legible and forwarded to BCIS.

unfortunately despite all this senator's office cant get me any response - they say they've filed half a dozen enquiries for me since may04 but tough luck. now what? 3mo's shy of 2yrs on N400 for oath. interv approved mar04.

any ideas from experts? cherry hill cancelled infopass so i cant even go in person to ask anymore ...

Thanks much

Tell the senator office staffer to go to USCIS in person to congressional liaison unit and find out what's going on with your case. Or explore legal options...

unfortunately they've always been polite & firm ... i've called/ emailed every mo. & each time they say "a fresh enquiry has been sent; we'll call if any response"; how can i force them to go do anything? is it worth trying the congressman's office but i'd have to ask senator's office to withdraw query which sounds risky?

what are the legal options ... has anyone tried suing to get a response. unlike newark CHill has suddenly stopped infopass. don't think it's possible to line up there anymore

emote,

I have been through similar experience so I can understand your anguish. You can call Philly office at 215-656-7176 after 2:15 PM and ask for Ms Taylor. Talk to her nicely and request her to schedule you for oath. If there are any pressing reasons, you can present those to her also. Good luck!
