Flow of Progress/Procedure - Clarify

Hi Gurus,
I have my I-140 cleared. I am planning to file my 3rd stage. AFter I fill DS 230, how does the process flow?? ie

I should send DS 230 to NVC or St. Louis.
NVC or St. Louis shall send me Packet 3.
I should send filled Packet 3 to Consulate
then Consulate will send packet 4 to Indian address.
Fill packet 4 and other docs for interview

is the above process flow correct? Am I missing anything in the above flow. Please correct if I am wrong.

--> You will get Packet 3 from NVC. you will be assigned Case# too.
--> Then, you will send filled DS 230 Part I to sT. Louis with $260 (Fee might have changed).
--> St. Louis will encahs the Check and forward it to NVC, Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
--> NVC, Portsmouth will review your case.
--> NVC, Protsmouth will forward it to India consulate.
--> India Consulate will send you Packet 4. and interview letter.
--> Attend interview in India and that\'s it.
--> Come back to USA with sealed packet and enter in USA with new status.

Note: Packet 3 mail to Inteview date takes 3 months.

hi Vsshah.
My lawyer has sent me DS230 forms to fill.
Does it mean I have received packet III from NVC and a case nbr is been assigned? My lawyer is not telling me any details saying that it has signed some agreement with my employer to not to let know some information to its employees.
